Originally from Petoskey, Jamie Beth graduated from EMU with a degree in Vocal Music Education and studied acting at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco.  She has been a frequent soloist at events and church services, and was the soprano soloist in Poulenc’s Gloria with the Northern Michigan Choral Society. She has performed as a soloist at several Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra’s Sunday Series Concerts, and as a soloist with the orchestra. Jamie has appeared in many productions locally and in California; Some favorite roles have included “Mother” in Amahl and the Night Visitors, “Belle” in Beauty and the Beast, “Agnes” in Agnes of God, “Mother Abbess” in Bay’s View’s The Sound of Music, and most recently, “Golde” in Bay View’s Fiddler on the Roof. Jamie is the founder and director of Noteable and owns A.R. Pontius Flower Shop in Harbor Springs
